Short cut: Progam, About-NMM, Abstract and presentations 

At Veðurstova Føroya we are happy to invite you to the 34th Nordic Meteorological Meeting 2026 in Tórshavn, for the first time in Faroe Islands.

The meeting will be open to all, and we hope to see a mixture of duty weather forecasters, scientists or researchers in climate and meteorology, as well as everybody generally interested in “weather, climate, observations, modelling and forecasting". There will also be sessions with focus on the "state of sea" and "Meteorology in search and rescue (SAR) operations”, as Veðurstovan is part of the organization Vørn, which is responsible for the Faroese fishery inspection and marine rescue service.

We would like to encourage you to participate in the meeting and welcome presentations either a talk or a poster in order to facilitate great discussions on the topics.
