The staff at the Faroese Meteorological Office (FMO, Veðurstova Føroya) were honored to welcome you to Tórshavn for the 34th Nordic Meteorology Meeting 2026 - marking the historic first time this event has been hosted in the Faroe Islands.

Our attendees represented a diverse community of operational forecasters, climate scientists, and meteorology researchers. This year’s program featured 62 abstracts covering a wide range of critical themes:
