Young Scientist Conference Award

Daan van den Broek from the Finnish Meteorological Institute has won the Young Scientist Conference Award, sponsored by the European Meteorological Society.

The European Meteorological Society sponsored a Young Scientist Conference Award (YSCA) to support participation in NMM2026.

Congratulations to Daan van den Broek (Finnish Meteorological Institute) for winning this Young Scientist Conference Award. For the abstract of his presentation, please consult the meeting program.

In addition to a  YSCA certificate, the award also includes a sponsorship of €750 toward travel expenditures. Though, in order to receive the financial part of the award, the winner has to submit a report on the conference to EMS.
